As she laid back in her swing, she let her mind wonder. Thinking back on all the hurt, all the tears she had cried in the past, she smiled. He was apart of her life now, she felt him even in his absence, she felt his fingers on her chin, his other hand caressing her hair, his lips on her forehead. She heard him, his whispers, his promises, telling her over and over this will be different, she wouldn't hurt any more, she wouldn't cry another tear and the lips he loved so much would never frown again. And she believed it, with every fiber of her being she believed him. But only time would tell if it were true.
